Service Description

In this 60-minute online workshop, parents will discover practical tools and strategies to help their young person regulate emotions and manage stress and negative or anxious thinking. Using a Strengths-Based and Solution Focused approach, topics covered include Regulating Emotions, Gratitude and Reframing Negative or Anxious Thinking, and Calming Down when overwhelmed. By the end of this workshop, you'll not only gain newfound confidence in managing your young person's emotions and stress but also discover ways to strengthen your relationship. These insights will make your time together more positive and meaningful, ultimately leading to a calmer and more harmonious home environment throughout the preteen and teenage years. Racheal Wallis is a Registered Social Worker (NZSWRB) and an experienced facilitator. Over the past two decades, she has worked with young people and families in schools, residential, and community settings in New Zealand, London, and Los Angeles. Racheal is highly passionate about sharing her experience to equip families with practical tools and resources that can immediately be applied to everyday situations, and we would love for you to join us!!
